Darlington, Union Row Mission, band

Band, possibly Boys Brigade, outside Union Row Mission, Johnson's cabinet makers and undertakers in background. Union Row was the former name for that part of King Street from the Old English Gentleman public house up to the junction with Union Street. The remainder of the street up to the junction with Gladstone Street was called Queen Street. About 1930 the whole was renamed King Street.
