Officer's Spurs, Durham Militia, early 19th century. These brass spurs were worn by a Field Officer of the Durham Militia. Field Officers were officers with the rank of major or above. These officers rode horses rather than marched with their men. These spurs were made by 'Thomas, St James Street' in London. Acc No: 680
