Plate, 2 VB DLI

Officers' Mess Plate, 2nd Volunteer Battalion DLI, 1890-1908. This white china plate is decorated with green bands and the battalion crest - an oak tree with leaves and acorn below a crown. This battalion had its Headquarters in Bishop Auckland. In 1908 the 2nd Volunteer Battalion DLI became the 6th (Territorial) Batatlion DLI. Acc No: 376
