Officers' Mess Salad Dish, 1st South Durham Fusiliers Militia, about 1873. This kidney-shaped, china salad dish has pink edging and the Regimental badge. The Durham Fusiliers Militia had its Headquarters in Barnard Castle in south-west County Durham. In 1881 this Regiment became the 3rd Battalion DLI. Acc No: 1052/1
