Cake Stand, 3 DLI

Officers' Mess Cake Stand, 3rd Battalion DLI, 1881-1901. This white china cake stand was made by Mintons and is decorated in gold and green with the Regimental badge in the centre. The 3rd Battalion DLI was formed in 1881 from the South Durham Militia. The battalion had its Headquarters at Barnard Castle. Acc No: 4027
