Officer's Service Dress Beret, 6th/8th Battalion DLI, 1967-1968. This green cloth beret has the silver badge of the 8th Battalion DLI worn on the red diamond patch of the 6th Battalion DLI. In 1967, following a national Defence Review, the last two DLI Territorial battalions were combined to form the 6th/8th Battalion DLI, which became part of the Light Infantry's Territorial and Army Volunteer Reserve. In 1968 this battalion was disbanded. Acc No:1077
