Sir Richard Pease of Prior House Richmond, from a Northern Echo photograph, October 1960. Sir Richard was Chairman of the Governors of Darlington Training College from 1926-1966, a position he took over from his father Sir Francis Pease. His grandfather Sir Arthur Francis Pease (d.1927) was also Chairman. He was a great-great-grandson of Edward Pease "Father of the Railways".
