Tanfield Hall, old tudor house
Album caption (c.1933) reads "The Old Tudor House at Tanfield (1625). It has in turn been palatial residence, workhouse, inn, tenements and in 1933 unemployed occupational centre." This building, close to the present Tanfield Hall, was demolished in the 1930s.
